It is by grace and not by human might that a prayer fellowship which was started by a few faithful believers in someone's living room could grow into a large Congregation. Like the popular Chinese proverb "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step", so is the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (Adom Congregation) which was started in the year 2000 as a prayer group by four members of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG): Brs. Samuel Boadi, Eric Frimpong, Yaw Mintah and the late Joseph Amankwah.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.
